Out now - Greenpeace's 'World On Fire: Pantanal', the first episode of a docu-series that unveils the ravaging destruction of Brazil’s ecosystems, driven by a financial system rigged against nature and humanity.
'World On Fire: Pantanal' follows Paula on her tireless journey to protect endangered species and ecosystems from the burning Pantanal in Brazil, highlighting the resilience of those on the frontlines to protect their land and livelihoods.
The Pantanal, the world’s largest tropical wetland, is on fire, with ecosystems and communities paying the price. Since 2013, over $201 billion has been given in credit to Brazil’s livestock and soya sectors, often linked to nature destruction.
This docu-series is part of 'Defund Nature Destruction Now', a multi-year, international campaign for which we created many different assets including the film 'MoneyTrees', animated key visuals and a brand identity.
The campaign launched worldwide with the participation of many Greenpeace offices including Brazil, Indonesia, The Netherlands and many others. In tandem with the film and digital assets, real-life demonstrations and actions were organized to gain attention.
